Thoughts on Luther's Sermons

Ministers are known for copying sermons from others, often without giving credit. That is illegal, unethical, and dishonest. Although DP Deputy Doug defends plagiarism, it is a violation of the call contract. In Fox Valley alone, Glende and Ski, Parlow and Limmer, and the pastor at Bethany have been caught plagiarizing. Don't even mention Kelm. His entire career has been plagiarism from the Fuller Factory of Foolishness.

Limmer and Parlow copied an email from Hybels and sent it out soon after. Limmer and Parlow had exactly the same words and emotions as Hybels, with a few cosmetic changes. That says a lot about their devotion to Hybels. They are not alone. WELS sent a bunch of mission pastors to Willow Creek (free!) to learn from Hybels.

The last iconic image of CFW Walther before he died.
He wrote - "The closer to Luther, the better the theologian."
Those who adore Walther should follow that prescription.

I have linked the Luther sermons on three of my blogs and a few Facebook pages. Page-reads jumped 50% per day when that happened. I plan on linking Luther sermons when I publish mine.

Joel Lillo, Fox Valley WELS, is addicted to this blog. He has sent a number of nasty, juvenile comments in the last day or so, celebrating his great love for UOJ. Here is his latest, even though the Appleton dumbling gang is always whining about my Photoshops:

 Greg,
The first attached file is a picture of Luke Skywalker in a stormtrooper outfit sans helmet. The second one is a picture of Joe Krohn that you already have.

Have fun making your photoshopped picture!

Those who read Luther and the Book of Concord teach justification by faith. Those pastors abhor the Church Growth Movement.

Those who plagiarize Swindoll, Hybels, Groeschel, and Stanley teach against faith. They adore the Church Growth Movement and the NNIV. Everyone is forgiven and saved - do whatever you want, believe whatever you want.
