Looks like Pastor GJ and Mrs. Jackson are going to have to plan a vacation to Arizona!
Prof. Deutschlander has been face-to-face with some chicaneries on a few occasions. He busted Ski and pals during the "Drive 08" Baptist Conference. I read The Theology of the Cross, and let me tell ya, Deutschlander ain't gonna be impressed with Jeff Gunn's Cross Walk.(Cross Walk is kind-of-a WELS church) I had a fellow church member, with the pastor present, tell me that kind-of-WELS is like being kind-of-pregnant!

The detail in The Theology of the Cross distinguishes between the cross of glory and the cross of Jesus. The shrinkers want glory, but the glory belongs to God. The book discusses the young, middle-aged, and old in the way that each bares the Cross. Most important, is Christ and Him Crusified!

For the sake of their spiritual life, I pray that a few "chicaneries" will attend the convention.

In Christ,

Sorry for the bad spelling in the previous comment. My punctuation is also hopeless.

I wish that the church lady, and anyone else going on hearsay, would actually attend CrossWalk. Personally, I have never heard the theology of the cross more beautifully displayed than I have there.
